QWest Courses
We now offer a large selection of Online Safety Training to support our clients. Training is at the core of a business’ set of values. It is a way to instill workers with the confidence and understanding of how to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Training is the base skill set that employers can provide their workers in safety knowledge. This ensures a framework for their protection and an understanding of the minimum regulatory requirements. We offer an extensive library of courses that cover the needs of employers. A worker that has been thoroughly trained and evaluated has completed the initial steps to becoming competent, with the ability to eventually help with mentoring future new employees.
WHMIS/GHS 2015 Online Course Overview
Do you use hazardous materials in your workplace? Then you need WHMIS training. This WHMIS/GHS 2015 course will teach you what you need to know about WHMIS and the Globally Harmonized System.
As of 2015, Canada is a partial signatory to the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (GHS), which introduces new regulations and practices surrounding the labelling and information requirements for hazardous materials. With GHS, the prior Canadian WHMIS standards, such as Material Safety Data Sheets, have been phased out and replaced with the new, international standards, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Our training program will teach you what you need to know about the WHMIS system, how it is changing, and how the Globally Harmonized System affects Canadian industry and regulation.

TDG - Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Transporting dangerous goods poses several hazards to workers, the general public, and the environment.
